Position Summary: Develop
and execute the strategic and tactical
sales plans with particular emphasis on
continued expansion into new sales
channels and markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the
sales efforts to achieve or exceed
targeted sales objectives.
Provide
overall thought leadership with strong
emphasis on sales growth and execution.
- Identify
and develop all sales opportunities with
emphasis on the retail channels of trade
and the ongoing development of a rolling
8 year strategic sales plan.
- Take a
leadership role in articulating and
upholding the company’s vision and
mission.
- Ensure
the proper selection and development of
a talented sales staff and implement
effective succession plans to provide
for depth at all critical positions.
- Ensure a
work environment that fosters high
engagement and high retention of the
sales staff.
- Stay
informed and updated on industry trends
and leverage key relationships with
professional organizations and industry
leaders to grow the business.
- Work
closely with the President as a mentee
to learn about the Company and the sales
history and current opportunities.
Instill
a culture of continuous improvement and
fast-paced execution within the sales
team and promote and ensure a work
environment that fosters high engagement
and retention for all staff members.
